About Us
We were officially established as a non-profit organisation (NPO) on the 24th of May 2021 in Palma de Mallorca, Spain (Registration Number G57658122).
Jonathan McFarland, who is the President of The Doctor as a Humanist, has provided a short welcome video message.
Our ethos is to promote networking, collaboration, knowledge exchange and research in health humanities and on the topic of re-humanising healthcare.
We host conferences, webinars and an annual online course alongside our Health Humanities Blog and several other resources.
Our membership is open to all qualified professionals and students from any sector and discipline. Please get in touch, if you are interested in getting involved with The Doctor as a Humanist.
